Chicago in Pink – My First Photography Exhibition

It’s a true honor to share this news with you: I’m officially opened my first-ever photography exhibition, and I couldn’t be more proud that it’s happening here in Chicago, the city that welcomed me with open arms.

This show, titled “Chicago in Pink,” is not a typical display of cityscapes or urban photography. It’s a creative reinterpretation of Chicago through a digital artistic lens. Each photograph in the series captures an iconic or personal view of the city—but with a twist: I’ve digitally altered one element in every image, unifying them all under a single, vibrant color theme.That color is pink.

Why pink? I chose it intentionally. Pink doesn’t clash with the natural tones of the sky or trees—it softens, it highlights, and it creates a visual harmony that transforms the familiar into something fresh. For me, pink is also symbolic. Historically, it has carried shifting meanings—from strength to tenderness, from protest to celebration. In this project, it represents beauty, courage, and a touch of whimsy in a city known for its strength and character.

“Chicago in Pink” is not just photography; it’s photo art—a blend of traditional photography and digital intervention, where color becomes a storyteller.

Fitness portraits by the Lake: A summer session with Steve in Chicago

Natural fitness portraits — Featuring Steve & his dog Jake

Last summer, I had the pleasure of photographing Steve, a man in his mid-50s who’s deeply committed to his fitness journey and overall well-being 🏋️‍♂️.

He asked me for simple, natural portraits taken outdoors near Chicago’s Lakeshore, where he could be shirtless and relaxed, showing his progress and physical transformation with authenticity — not through perfection, but through confidence.

The session had a laid-back vibe, capturing both portraits and lifestyle moments. In some shots, Steve is joined by his dog Jake, who also got a little spotlight with his own mini photo session 🐶📸.

These types of portraits are about documenting growth and personal pride — and doing so in a setting that feels safe, serene, and empowering.

Summer Throuple Photoshoot — Celebrating Love and Diversity

A Natural, Casual Throuple Photoshoot in Santiago 🌞

In 2019, I had the chance to photograph something truly special in Santiago, Chile — a photo session with a throuple (a polyamorous relationship of three people), instead of a traditional 2 people couple.

We chose a casual summer morning for the shoot, with soft light and a relaxed mood. The goal was to capture their connection in a way that felt real, spontaneous, and intimate — avoiding overly posed or staged shots.

We focused on their natural chemistry, their daily interactions, and the joy they shared. Today, these three wonderful people live in Spain, but I’m honored to have documented that moment in their journey.

📍Based now in Chicago, I’m open to working with couples and throuples who want to capture their love stories in a natural, respectful, and creative way.

Even though Ricardo and Gerardo are no longer together, I’m proud to share this session today. The result was visually beautiful, full of tenderness, connection, and light.

I’ve been in Chicago, U.S.A. since September 2022, where I started a new chapter in my life

Desde Septiembre 2022 estoy ahora en la ciudad de Chicago, EEUU, donde empecé un nuevo capítulo en mi vida.

Si tienes fotos impresas (años 90s hacia atrás) te recomiendo escanearlas antes de que sea tarde. Las tintas de esa impresión pierden color con el tiempo (como las fotos que se van tornando rojizas) y no se puede recuperar. Escanealas al menos con 600 dpi/ppi y Guardalas en una nube (Google drive, Dropbox, i cloud, etc)
