Chicago in Pink – My First Photography Exhibition

It’s a true honor to share this news with you: I’m officially opened my first-ever photography exhibition, and I couldn’t be more proud that it’s happening here in Chicago, the city that welcomed me with open arms.

This show, titled “Chicago in Pink,” is not a typical display of cityscapes or urban photography. It’s a creative reinterpretation of Chicago through a digital artistic lens. Each photograph in the series captures an iconic or personal view of the city—but with a twist: I’ve digitally altered one element in every image, unifying them all under a single, vibrant color theme.That color is pink.

Why pink? I chose it intentionally. Pink doesn’t clash with the natural tones of the sky or trees—it softens, it highlights, and it creates a visual harmony that transforms the familiar into something fresh. For me, pink is also symbolic. Historically, it has carried shifting meanings—from strength to tenderness, from protest to celebration. In this project, it represents beauty, courage, and a touch of whimsy in a city known for its strength and character.

“Chicago in Pink” is not just photography; it’s photo art—a blend of traditional photography and digital intervention, where color becomes a storyteller.

El Super Bowl 2026 ha dado muchísimo de qué hablar, especialmente por la elección de Bad Bunny para el show del mediotiempo. En este nuevo vlog, me sumerjo de lleno en lo que fue esta presentación para compartirles mi perspectiva personal. Les confieso que, aunque no soy el mayor fan del género urbano, hubo momentos y sorpresas en el escenario que realmente no me esperaba y que logran conectar de una forma muy especial con nuestra cultura.

¿Fue el mejor artista para representar a los latinos o la polémica estaba justificada? En el video les cuento cuáles fueron, a mi parecer, los instantes más impactantes, desde apariciones inesperadas de grandes estrellas hasta gestos que rinden homenaje a toda América. With the restaurant’s brightly painted walls as a backdrop, I focused on enhancing the natural colors of each plate—the deep reds of fresh tomatoes, the crisp greens of herbs, and the golden textures of perfectly cooked Spanish-inspired recipes. These details made the food photography session not only visually appealing but also a reflection of authentic Spanish cuisine in Chicago.

For me, food photography is about more than just taking pictures—it’s about capturing the story behind every dish. At Little Madrid, that story is one of tradition, flavor, and artistic presentation. The restaurant’s atmosphere, combined with its unique menu, creates a dining experience that feels both welcoming and inspiring.

Fitness portraits by the Lake: A summer session with Steve in Chicago

Last summer, I had the pleasure of photographing Steve, a man in his mid-50s who’s deeply committed to his fitness journey and overall well-being 🏋️‍♂️.

He asked me for simple, natural portraits taken outdoors near Chicago’s Lakeshore, where he could be shirtless and relaxed, showing his progress and physical transformation with authenticity — not through perfection, but through confidence.

The session had a laid-back vibe, capturing both portraits and lifestyle moments. In some shots, Steve is joined by his dog Jake, who also got a little spotlight with his own mini photo session 🐶📸.

These types of portraits are about documenting growth and personal pride — and doing so in a setting that feels safe, serene, and empowering.

Product Photography for The Lanzaga’s Natural Tea Line — Elegant, Simple, and Authentic

Natural Tea Product Photos for The Lanzaga

After photographing the menu items for The Lanzaga, I was invited once again — this time to capture their line of natural teas, crafted with care and attention to detail 🍃.

The task was clear: they needed simple, clean product photos of each tea to display on their website and e-commerce platform. For each variety, I took individual shots of the tea container alongside a transparent glass bowl showing the tea blend inside — allowing their customers to see the product’s texture and ingredients.

In this post, I’m sharing three of those product images. Though there are several flavors, these give a glimpse of the elegant presentation we aimed for. And yes — I got to try one! The almond-flavored tea really surprised me. As someone who’s not usually a tea drinker, I found it flavorful and comforting. I’d absolutely drink it again ☕✨.

Tomé una foto individual de cada contenedor, acompañado de un recipiente de vidrio con el té visible. Aquí muestro tres de esas imágenes 📸.

Probé el té de almendra y, siendo honesto, me encantó — ¡y eso que no soy fan del té! ☕💛

Summer Throuple Photoshoot — Celebrating Love and Diversity

A Natural, Casual Throuple Photoshoot in Santiago 🌞

In 2019, I had the chance to photograph something truly special in Santiago, Chile — a photo session with a throuple (a polyamorous relationship of three people), instead of a traditional 2 people couple.

We chose a casual summer morning for the shoot, with soft light and a relaxed mood. The goal was to capture their connection in a way that felt real, spontaneous, and intimate — avoiding overly posed or staged shots.

We focused on their natural chemistry, their daily interactions, and the joy they shared. Today, these three wonderful people live in Spain, but I’m honored to have documented that moment in their journey.

As a visual storyteller, this engagement session with Ricardo and Gerardo was a meaningful milestone — my very first time photographing a same-sex couple 💫.

We shot this in a quiet park in Santiago, Chile, during the soft light of a morning, aiming for a calm and romantic atmosphere. The goal was to create natural moments — poses that felt real, not staged, and full of emotion.

Even though Ricardo and Gerardo are no longer together, I’m proud to share this session today. The result was visually beautiful, full of tenderness, connection, and light.

Este es el segundo local oficial de Harry Potter en Estados Unidos, operado por Warner Bros, y el tercero en el mundo, junto con Nueva York y Londres. ¿Lo mejor? Está inspirada en el libro Harry Potter y el Cáliz de Fuego.

Probamos el ÚNICO McDonald’s del mundo con menú internacional 🌍🍔

¿Te imaginas entrar a un McDonald’s y poder elegir platos de India, Alemania, Medio Oriente, Canadá, España o Dinamarca… sin salir de tu ciudad? Pues eso fue lo que hice en este video, y te lo cuento todo aquí también.

En el corazón de Chicago, específicamente en el vecindario de West Loop, se encuentra el único McDonald’s del mundo que ofrece un menú internacional rotativo. Está en la planta baja del edificio corporativo de McDonald’s, y cada tres meses renuevan su carta con productos reales de McDonald’s de otros países.
